How many episodes of Pretty Little Liars have I watched just for a glimpse of Andrea? Probably too many. Those little liars story lines are a bit much, but worth it to catch a glimpse of Andrea. My favourite post-Pretender role is Less Than Perfect because we get to see her comic timing.
In these smaller roles, Andrea shines just as she does in The Pretender, which, you may know, is how she came to my attention. I had certainly a lot of catching up to do from before tP - did you know Andrea was in an episode of Seinfeld, called The Contest?
Some people may know Andrea from her stint in JAG (aka Judge Advocate General.) From her work as Miss Parker, it is no surprise she can totally master that buttoned up JAG role adding a subtle hint of style and finesse.
In the old days I collected some of Andrea's work on VHS as soon as I found them and later on DVD. I still have some of those VHS tapes but no player that works! Sad times. If you're lucky, you live in a location that does not block streaming of most of the fun videos - it's like they don't want customers! What is that about? Rant over.
If you have not seen anything by Andrea Parker, stream The Pretender online or pick up The Pretender first season DVD as a starter. Season 4 DVD is not linked here because there does not appear to be a good option for this season.
